A shock absorbing splint pad gives maximum protection to the splint bone, tendons, and other soft tissues. The refined splint pad guards against crossfire injuries and allows for a closer, cleaner fit. A suspensory rib is positioned between the tendon and the cannon bone to ensure proper boot alignment. A patented Cradle Fetlock System provides maximum support and protection to the lower limb by a double layer of shock absorbing neoprene. An extended layer of tough, bulletproof material fitted on the cup area ensures durability. A series of fitting darts provides for a clean, close fit. Bound edges help keep dirt and debris out.

Sizing:

Front: Measure the diameter of the leg at the Cannon Bone, mid-way between the knee and the fetlock.

Hind: Legacy Boots are designed to fit the bone structure of the hind legs in direct relation to the front legs. If your horse measures a medium in the front boot, he will also need a medium in the hind boot.

Bell Boots: 80% of horses wear the same size bell boots as they do Legacy boots. So if your horse needs a medium Legacy, he will most likely also need a medium bell boot.
